Exciting developments are underway as we ramp up preparations for the upcoming South Coast Adrenaline Series Obstacle Course Race, coming up on the 18th of July.
Work is currently underway at T.O. Strand in Leisure Bay to redesign, upgrade and refresh the existing obstacle course, ensuring an exhilarating experience for participants and spectators alike.
As part of these preparations, our team has begun clearing, repairing, and enhancing various sections of the course. Our goal is to deliver a clean, safe, and challenging environment that lives up to the adrenaline-fuelled reputation of our events. From reinforcing structures and designing new obstacles, to improving flow between obstacles, every detail is being considered to elevate the overall race experience.
We’ve captured a behind-the-scenes video of the course in its current state, giving you a glimpse into the transformation process. Over the coming weeks, you’ll see it evolve into a polished and purpose-built course, designed to test endurance, strength, and grit.
Participants can look forward to a dynamic 5km route that combines beach and forest terrain with a variety of obstacles suitable for both seasoned racers and first-timers. Whether you're chasing a podium finish or simply taking on the challenge for fun, the upgraded course promises something for everyone.
